︎Maria Gemra

Fashion Design Graduate

Maria is a fashion design graduate from London College in Fashion. Her main focus is sustainability, new technologies and creating positive change in the fashion industry. During her artistic residency she developed further her sustainable pattern-cutting technique which she created as her BA project.

︎Céline Clergé
    Aurélia Arto

Céline Clergé est comédienne, pédagogue et dirige la compagnie Où en est la nuit à Lille. Elle s'intéresse à l'écriture sous toutes ses formes en particulier ici pour le cinéma.

Aurélia Arto est également comédienne et auteure. Après avoir écrit Playground, elle se lance dans l'écriture d'un deuxième court-métrage avec Céline.




︎Luke Trusso

Luke Trusso has been an Adjunct Instructor in the Philosophy and Religion Department at NJCU since 2009. He is also an adjunct lecturer in the Liberal Studies Department at NYU. He has an MA in English Literature from SUNY Buffalo, and an MA in Philosophy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, and he is currently working on his dissertation in Environmental Philosophy towards a PhD at Duquesne University. His research interests include Environmental Aesthetics, Nietzsche Scholarship, American Literature, and Psychoanalysis.




︎Nathan Ollis

Filmmaker

Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Nathan’s work has been shown at numerous film festivals and has won multiple awards. Nathan attended Maison Gai Saber to write and workshop his next feature film. The space and atmosphere allowed Nathan to explore new ideas in his film work and try unfamiliar creative approaches, including collage.

Based in New York City since 1995 when she began her doctoral studies at Columbia University (Ed. D. 2001), Lori often lectures on arts and creativity-related topics. As a visual artist, she is the recipient of the Pollock-Krasner fellowship, Jerome and Puffin Foundation Awards, and numerous international residencies. Dr. Kent was a Fulbright fellow at the Jan Matejko Academy (Krakow, Poland) and a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) fellow at Stanford University.

Scholar, author

Currently living in Vancouver, Canada, where Willow teaches European philosophy at the University of British Columbia. She has taught philosophy, psychoanalysis, and feminist theory in the UK, Belgium, and Canada. Willow is the author of Nietzsche and Friendship(Bloomsbury 2019), numerous journal articles, and short fiction found in Canadian literary magazines.

Actress

Clio Baran est une actrice française qui a joué dans plusieurs films et téléfilms. En même temps que le lycée où elle suit l’option théâtre elle suit des cours de comédie au conservatoire du 7 eme arrondissement de Paris et à l’école Florent où elle décroche le concours de la classe libre en 2005. Se considérant toujours en formation, elle fait de nombreux stages de disciplines différentes qui l’enrichissent tant sur le plan artistique qu’humain. Forte de ces rencontres, elle s’attache aujourd’hui à traquer la vie pour la sublimer dans la création et la jouer sur scène.

Amy is a poet, performance artist, playwright, actress and educator, residing in England. She is developing the Spoken Word Education Program at Goldsmith’s for visually impaired students. Her debut collection Dark Matter explores the thin line between lust and destruction.

Genese lives in Vermont, U.S.A., in an old farmhouse and works in a magical antiquarian bookshop. Author of The World as Metaphor in Robert Musil's The Man without Qualities, the translator of a book of Musil's small prose, Thought Flights, Musil's Unions, and Musil's Theater Symptoms: Plays and Writings on Theater, as well as the writer of many literary-philosophical essays, including one (winner of the Jeffrey E. Smith Editors' Prize) written at Maison Gai Saber. Her gigantic book portal (a room-sized illuminated manuscript inscribed with an essay on the history of book as magical objects) took five years to make and was finished in 2018.

Lives in New Jersey. Teaches philosophy in New York. After writing his doctoral dissertation on Nietzsche he has devoted a lot of time to studies and creative projects on Thus Spoke Zarathustra. He is one of the co-funders of the Nietzsche circle, New York and founder of Philomobile.

Babette’s art profession began after years in the marine industry where she came to regard her boatbuilding and sail making as the beginning of her interest in sculpture. Beaullieu creates and performs interdisciplinary productions working collaboratively with her sister, Becky Beaullieu Valls, choreographer.

Coming from a background in photography and design, Lucy has worked in various roles in creative publishing, art direction, web/graphic design and image curation. Following an MA in Graphic Design from Central Saint Martins, she has since worked with the course as a teaching assistant focusing on digital design, alongside co-founding the creative studio ‘See, Also’. Her photographic series You speak too fast for me focused around Maison Gai Saber, Leigné-sur-Usseau and Paris.
